Flat Panel Wood Ceiling Systems
Flat Panel Wood ceilings are designed to lay into a standard T-grid ceiling system. They are available with different types of substrates for “Class A” Fire considerations, exterior applications, weight and special perforation issues. They are available in standard and many custom sizes to meet particular design requirements. Logos and special surface patterns can also be incorporated into the manufacture of this type of panel.
Flat panels are available in six basic mounting designs:
Series 1 through Series 6.

Flat Panel Series 1 (FP1)
Series 1 Flat Panel refers to a lay-in panel into a standard T-grid [i.e. FP1-2424 designates a Flat Panel, series 1, overall size is 24” by 24”].
Flat Panel Series 2 (FP2)
Series 2 Flat Panel [FP2-] has a reveal edge condition that lays into a standard grid. The grid can be covered with matching wood trim if desired or can be left in the original condition from the manufacturer.
Flat Panel Series 3 (FP3)
Series 3 Flat Panel [FP3-] is designed to slide into the grid and provide a 3/8” reveal between each panel. They are easily removed for access as-is Series 1 and 2 panels.
Flat Panel Series 4 (FP4)
Series 4 Flat Panel [FP4-] is designed to slide into the grid from behind the panel and provide a 3/8” reveal between each panel. They are easily removed for access as-is Series 1, 2 and 3 panels.
Flat Panel Series 5 (FP5)
Flat panels are designed to suspend from a cold rolled steel channel. Panels can be easily installed and removed or locked into place. Perforation patterns of all types can be used with this system.
Flat Panel Series 6 (FP6)
Series 6 is designed for large panels that are mounted on angles. Special mounting brackets are attached to the panel. Many can accommodate different angle configurations.
