Encore Acoustical Wood Panels
Encore Acoustical Wood is designed to provide the combined qualities of wood appearance with acoustical performance in a simple to install package. Three different types of Encore Acoustical Wood panels are available. Each type of panel is represented by its own series. Series 1 (EN1), Series 2 (EN2), Series 3 (EN3), Series 4 (EN4), Series 5(EN5), Series 6(EN6), Series 7(EN7)

Encore Acoustical Series 1 (EN1) (EN1) Series 1 Encore Acoustical Wood panels [ EN1-7500-C25 ] are made from a 3/4” substrate and typically manufactured in 7-1/2” widths. The panel has grooves on the face with intersecting holes partially drilled on the backside. The EN1 panel is available with different widths for the wood face and different groove dimensions.

Encore Acoustical Series 2 (EN2) Series 2 Encore Acoustical Wood panels [EN2-xxxxxx-I25 ] are made from a series of components. Typically, they measure 1-1/2” thick and have 1” thick acoustical insulation inside the panel. Similar to the Series 1 panels, the wood face can be made in different widths. The grooves on the face are cut straight. This provides for a more pleasant visual appearance then angular cutting of the grooves. Acoustical performance in this series is also the greatest among the three different series of panels.

Encore Acoustical Series 3 (EN3) Series 3 Encore Acoustical Wood panels [EN3-xxxxx-I25 ] are also composite panels similar to the Series 2 panels. The difference is found in the wood veneer face. The 1/4” thick face material has either angular or straight-cut grooves with similar scoring on the reverse side. The visual appearance differs from Series 2 Encore Acoustical Wood.

Encore Acoustical Series 4 (EN4) Series 4 Encore acoustical wood panels are a panilized version of our Series 1 Encore System. Series 4 is available in the same profiles, veneers and finishes as the other Encore Systems. They are available in standard 2’X2’, 3’X3’, 2’X4’, 4’X4’ and various custom sizes.

Encore Acoustical Series 5 (EN5) Series 5 Encore Acoustical Wood Panels are similar to Allegro Series 1 Curved Panels, only with acoustic properties. The difference is found in the wood veneer face. The ” thick face incorporates various groove sizes and spacing, with intersecting grooves on the back of the panel to allow sound absorption. Encore 5 panels are available in various custom sizes and curves.

Encore Acoustical Series 6 (EN6) Series 6 Encore Acoustical Wood Panels incorporate multiple ceiling and wall applications. The face incorporates various groove sizes and spacing, with intersecting perforations on the back side of the face to allow sound absorption. The EN6/FP4 panel (as shown in the details) is available in standard sizes of 2’ width and lengths of 2’ to 8’. Various custom lengths are also available. Applications requiring a panel over 2’ wide should use our Flat Panel Series 5 or Series 6 suspension system.

Encore Acoustical Series 7 (EN7) Series 7 Encore Acoustical Wood Panels incorporate multiple ceiling and wall applications. The face incorporates various groove sizes and spacing, with intersecting saw penetrations on the back side of the face to allow sound absorption.
