Wood Beam Ceiling Systems Architectural Components Group has developed the Wood Beam product line to provide a cost-effective and efficient installation method in providing all types of wood beams for ceilings and wall applications. Wood Beams are available in four different series of products. Each series differs in their function and overall appearances. This product lends itself to a variety of custom applications. Wood Beam Series 1 (BM1) Series 1 square, rectangular, round or half-round beams as shown in design details 7001-7004. They also include half beams for wall applications. Simple moldings can be attached almost anywhere to the beam. This series is simple to install and field modify when required. The specifier needs to identify the overall size required, veneer selection and finish.

Wood Beam Series 2 (BM2) Series 2 is designed to be used with elaborate decorative moldings. Unless the architect or designer has a specific design it is recommended they confer with ACGI direct to work out the exact design needed. Design details 7005-7007 illustrate some of the more intricate details to this system. ACGI can provide a variety of assistance to identify different molding types that can effectively be used together.

Wood Beam Series 3 (BM3) Series 3 horizontal radius beams as detailed in detail #7008 and #7009. Different radius’s are available upon request. The internal design of Series 3 and 4 allow for very exact dimensions and smooth surfaces.

Wood Beam Series 4 (BM4) Series 4 vertical radius beams are illustrated in detail #7010 and #7011. Different radiuses are available as well as radius four sided beams for internal beam structures [see detail # 7013 and #7014].
